About

Hello, I am Suzanne Joinson. I’m a writer, my debut novel A Lady Cyclist’s Guide to Kashgar will be coming out in the UK in July 2012 published by Bloomsbury. It will also be published in 7 other countries (so far!).

My short story Laila Ahmed won the New Writing Ventures prize and you can read it here.

By day I organise international literature projects, specialising in the Middle East. I have travelled widely across the Middle East, China, Russia and S.E. Europe. This blog is a scrapbook, it’s a bit random but a coherent whole might one day emerge. If it does, I’ll pretend I meant it to all along.

I am represented by Rachel Calder: rcalder@sayleliteraryagency.com If you want to contact me about press/books/writing/events please do so via Rachel. If you want to contact me directly for any other reason send me a message via the comments.

My website is here: www.suzannejoinson.com
